Question by Paul P: Seen Joel Osteen’s Pushing Other People Up Message (which is more “be positive” hype and reciprocity junk)?
Ok, Christians, another toughy. When are we going to learn that such as Joel Osteen (et al) are liars? What happened to Berean w/the Bible? It blew my mind to hear Olsteen advise a lady to keep giving her theif boss ideas because it’d help boost her own career. Duh! In what world? Fairy tale land? Been there, done that with Alcon and guess what? I was their fool; in their view, if you’re stupid monkey enough to give them ideas, they are smart enough to take them; later, when all used up, toss you out (I’m on Welfare now and gave ideas that saved millions upon millions plus). Now, I agree with helping others. Be aware it may not give you squat! Look at the 1st -3rd Century Church! In love they helped wounded Romans on the battle field but got no reciprocity or “push up” but slaughtered..” Where went this garbage when Jesus asked, “Which good works stone me for?” Hebrews 11 gives “victory with gain & loss.” Jesus teaches to do good but WILL SUFFER, as He. Olsteen’s neg. in saying lies.
Thus far, I’ve been pleasantly shocked. Some Christians can actually SEE through this junk. I praise God. Sometimes (only in certain circumstances) I feel like Elijiah: only he saw the problems of Israel due to so much around him. Same thing here. I’m inundated with friends, church after church, family, you name it that think hot butter couldn’t melt in this (thee)charlatan(s) mouths. AND, when it comes to Bible, they “think” he’s right on. Lord, save us So, thanks for responding. I’m encouraged. Yet, you cannot ignore these false prophets, people. They multiple worse than rabbits (as I’ve pointed out afore, behold Copeland, Schuller, Hagin, Joyce Meyers, AiG, ICR, etc.). Too, as motivation speakers they’re useless since it’s lie. Don’t miss take me here as I’m not putting down Welfare people; yet, these guys are like the welfare abusers; I call it Ecclesiastical Welfare. Now, don’t get me wrong; those Godly deserve (per the Word) double portion. BUT NOT THESE! Thanks.
