Question by The Rose’s Thorn : On a quest to lose weight/tone up for prom, how can I overcome all my excuses and what can I do to fix them?
Alright so, I’m 5’8 and about 150lbs? Something like that? My doctor says I’m in the right percentile, not overweight at all, but I have a couple of problem areas and I’m trying to lose weight for prom in late may. My arms are my BIGGEST concern. I know a million people are going to say “You can’t target weight loss” but there has to be something I can do. My arms are huge and it’s very depressing, I feel so awkward wearing short sleeves, tank tops, etc. I even have a hard time fitting them into long sleeves. They’re just extremely flabby and thick and … yeah, I can’t take it anymore. Secondly my stomach is fairly small, I’m tall and I have a long waist, but I get rolls when I sit and I still want that perfect flat stomach that every girl craves, summer is coming up, it’s not really an issue for prom but it is when I break out the bikinis. Love handle also, are now a problem. The thing is, I’ve gotten sort of an hourglass shape but with a price – I’ve also developed lovehandles and I can see them so clearly if I have jeans that are even the slightest bit low cut or tight around the waist or with tight shirts, must get rid of them but how? And my legs of course. I want to look good in a mini skirt. But they’re just too jiggly and I have thick calves. And another problem. I don’t want to lose curves, once again, especially in the butt and breast area. I’m naturally very small breasted (only 34b). I heard there are exercises to increase cup size, don’t know how true that is. But my biggest issue is the ARMS! Now my excuses are always I’m too tired, too lazy, can’t go outside because it’s raining or it’s too hot. So what can I do for exercise in a small house with no really big rooms to move around in and no exercise machines and what can I do outside when I am able to go out and for how long? Oh, by the way I have 5 pound weights, that’s my only equipment, 10 points if you can give me really good advice. And you’ll score extra brownie points if you give me some eating tips. Keep in mind I can’t eat wheat and whole grain and all this low fat stuff, keep it real, because I eat what my family eats, it’s a rule, if it’s good enough for one person it’s good enough for us all and I don’t want to sacrifice taste.

yeah, lift your weights every day for 10 mins. you can even watch tv or something while you do it so its not that bad! and for breakfast, try yogurt, granola, and fruit, its good and healthyy. :)
