hospital since last Friday paralyzed from the knees down. There is nothing more they say the can do. Nerve conduction tests abnormal. Spinal tap did not confirm hyper protein as w/ Guillian. Leg muscles beginning to atrophy after 1 week. Cannot walk, cannot place my feet properly. Am in severe muscular pain not to mention the anesthesia for the extensive MRI and the spinal tap causing a huge unridable headache. I am crying my eyes out! What is with this is my 34th birthday month and suddenly I have an autoimmune disorder that is wasting my leg muscles and causing me to no longer walk? to be paralyzed? god help me. please.

I have what I describe as red racing stripes down both sides of my tongue, a whitish “coating” on it, it feels like I burned it, but didn’t, and excessive thick salvia. Does anyone know what this might be and what can I do to make it go away?
Thanks for the response but it is not thrush, have been treated for that several times, doc sent me to oral surgon who said it is burnt tongue syndrome but said there was nothing short of getting in a study at Hopkins to do about it, I was hoping that someone might know something not so drastic

Whitish coating and thick saliva sounds more like a yeast infection/candida. Sometimes if you are on antibiotics or have been or immune comprimised for some reason you can get a candida infection in the mouth. The whitish coating will usually rub off a little, tongue very sore, and often bright red beneath the white coating. See your dentist he can prescribe/test for.

Question by Caryn: if downs syndrome has been in the family but not the parents, is the risk higher for the baby to have downs sy?
Ok i understand how down’s syndrome “happens” it is the extra copy of the 21st chromosome…i understand that it does not take a parent to have it in order to develop this extra chromosome (although risk is 50% when one or both parents do have this syndrome) I do have a family history of down’s syndrome, as does my husband. Now am i right to assume that the risk of me having a child with down’s syndrome is higher?

ok so i acquired back again from college today and i acquired onto my facebook account. then i logged off. and now ive tried using obtaining again onto my account and it has been disabled. my genuine title is emily louise birch-price and i have had extream issues with people “faking me” (taking my pictures and utilizing them as there own and claiming they are of them) the only way your account can be disabled is if you are a fake. or spamming or being truly horrible to individuals. but i havent accomplished any of people things. my account is no extended on facebook but if you search emily birch-value i feel there are people faking me even now on facebook. i think for the explanation of me being disabled is that individuals have reported me as the fake emily louise birch-cost when i really am not a fake. and it wides me up so a lot. so now ive misplaced all my pictures ( i do photography) and my close friends and i come to feel fairly slice off. how can i get my account back?

Leaky gut syndrome is an odd disease. Many normal people have an idea of what it is, just from the name, but many medical professionals don’t think its real. In cleansing your colon, take note of the following: 1) Make sure that the colon cleansing formula doesn’t contain harmful chemicals and 2) Even, herbal cleanses may be harmful to your body, so do not cleanse your colon frequently.
