I ran into Connie Chiu in my browse. She has a status called “hypopigmentation.” I made a picture of her because she is quite interesting and her status fascinates me. I learned that nearly all peoples affected by hypopigmentation suffer from visual impairments.

@Hattie1994 Well, yes, they can have sunspots!! Just put it on google images and u’ll see. And there are other kinds of sun damage that leads to spotty skin, such as Actinic keratosis and, later, to cancer.
Trust me, I’m a medical student ^^
@Hattie1994 I do know that. FYI… a red spot does not come from melanin
I was only referring to the fact that people with albinism (depending on the type) tend to show signs of sun damage, and skin sensitivity by the teen years, and her skin is still flawless.
Hell I’m just pale and I have a rough time avoiding sun damage/irritated skin from going out on overcast days!
Still try to keep in mind that some people with certain types of albinism do have varied amounts of pigment.
@MsSusiePan Oh yes not disputing that, but they won’t get sunspots because thats pigmentation spots of melanin, and the don’t have any haha
@Hattie1994 I think she refers to the fact that their skin is extremely succetible to sun damage, which is why is very hard not to have spots. Albine ppl must use very efficient sunblocks to avoid both aesthetic and health problems (skin cancer)
Not quite. Kanye west already had 2 african albinos featured in his clips.I guess you are late.
@otherwheregirl she has albinism, they have no pigment in their skin.
A most masterfully dawn work of beauty
God I wish I knew what sunblock she uses. Her skin has no red spots or sun damage!
Most strikingly beautiful mode ever!
2:21 is amazing!
i guess hip hop music in this video would be out of the question?
She’s sooo eye catching,i luv it! She looks futuristic…
linda demais
Gorgeous !
Breathtakingly beautiful
I want her skin! I’m pale already but that’s georgeous!! Porcelain!
Beautiful. My two preferences in the same woman. Asian and albino.
@fordorish AS is medically classified as part of the Autism Spectrum Disorders. Which includes classic autism, AS, and pervasive development disorder. Here’s a link to the National Institute of Health’s website:

what’s with them blue eyes?
@gariadara I’m afraid I have to insist and say that AS is NOT part of the Autism Spectrum. Completely different otherwise they would have not called it AS would they? Anyhow, I’m tired of trying to explain what I mean, I think you’ll just have to read between the lines and see for yourself.
@fordorish AS is an autism spectrum disorder, I was referring to the entire spectrum when I used the term “autism.” I’m not spiritual so I don’t tend to think in those terms, but I see what you’re saying. I was coming from a pure logical standpoint. However, humanity has always been capable for both understanding and bigotry, regardless of the existence of any particular population of people. People who tend to discriminate will do so, if it’s not skin color, it’s shape of face or hair texture.
@gariadara I do not have Autism. I have AS (Asperger’s Syndrome). I also apologise in my turn if I went on the defensive, have had a lot of bad comments b4 now. No I was speaking along spiritual lines. Albinos are there to show the rest of Humanity what can be achieved through understanding. Take you and I for example. I am British but if I was an Albino I would not care so much if you were black for example because you would also be an Albino. Do you get what I am trying to say here?
@fordorish sorry if I picked the wrong choice of words, Autism is a condition with social impairment. My point is that autism is not in any way analogous to Albinism, which is a skin condition. It’s like comparing yourself with a kid with acne. Sure they’re both “problems” but that’s as far as that goes.
@gariadara Excuse me?! I think you completely misread my comment actually. I am on the AS Spectrum
myself so I guess that means I’M supposed to be “retarded” as well does it?! >:-(
