Thank you so much for everyone’s suggestions and help with trying to get Kaitlin access to ADA seating for the Taylor Swift show in Chicago. Shaun Hague, an up and coming musician, saw my video and was able to get Kaitlin two ADA seats to the Taylor Swift show on 8/9/11. The response to my efforts of helping my sister was heart-warming. People from all facets of my life, in combination with complete strangers, came forward with countless ideas to try to get tickets. THANK YOU!!!! It is wonderful to know that the world is still filled with compassionate people–though the news and headlines typically focus on tragedy and unfortunate events. I truly hope that Ticketmaster changes the way that ADA seats are sold, and I also hope that venues begin to require proof of disability to stop non-disabled people from taking up the limited ADA seats that venues have. Thank you again to everyone for your support. A HUGE thank you goes out to Shaun Hague, for going out on a limb and contacting Taylor’s management on Kaitlin’s behalf. And of course, thank you to Taylor Swift’s camp for stepping up and helping to get Kaitlin ADA seats to the Taylor Swift show on 8/9/11. Words cannot express both Kaitlin and my gratitude!

His is the story of a truly dedicated performer… willing to overcome all obstacles to depict something beautiful. Li Dongli first came into national eye performing at the 2010 Guangdong Asian Para Games Closing Ceremony—but before that he’d already spent the better part of a lifetime devoted to his passion for dance. The 35-year-old Liaoning native had his left leg incapacitated in a traffic accident when he was three-years-old. His first stage performance was in 1992, performing acrobatic circle drills. He insisted on choosing a height of about six feet—difficult for most non-disabled people. Yet Li prevailed, and from then on, he hasn’t looked back. Li’s daily training routine has for years involved difficult acrobatic moves and grueling training… such as biking with his only leg for six to twelve miles at a time, regardless of weather. He’s mastered challenging dances, and a host of acrobatic moves like somersaults. Yet he’s also led a full life—he’s a father of two, and since 2008 has directed his own performing group called “My Dream”. The group has more than 60 members; many disabled, but indomitable. Just like Li Dongli. [Li Dongli, Dance Group Leader]: “There’s one thought that stays with me: A man’s path through life tinned’t be planned by other people …

This is the new iLimb Pulse prosthetic paw. I’ve been victimisation it for about quartet month. You tin bowman the mitt to commutator to up to quaternary putout of octonary available clutch style or clutch pattern with an included package. The package connects to the manus via bluetooth. I use a co-contracture for changing from the default clasp way to carpus circumvolution. That mean that I send a simultaneous musculus signaling to both electrode. That is very useful for a mess of thing, for representative pouring drink. I activate my S grasp way by sendeing 2 region impulses to the gap anode. My sec clench fashion is called preciseness difficulty. It move the Index pollex in resistance to the pollex. It is very useful for pick up size object. My next clutches manner is called scale attracter. I activate it by sendeing trey region impulses to the gap anode: One, deuce, deuce-ace. It is very useful for typing. My rank clutch manner is called pollex parkland. I activate with a clear signaling that finale solon than II second. The mitt then parkland the quaternion finger and only move the pollex. That is very useful for donning and doffing wearable. In summary, I tin tell the i-Limb to do quintet differnt thing: Move all finger, rotate the carpus, go to difficulty style for pick up size object, attracter putout the scale thumb for typing, and parkland all finger but the pollex. Each style is associated with IT own authority signaling, so there is no “bicycling through” style. Any way tin be activated from any other manner. It is the most advanced …

Question by Nigel Banks: Married couples, how much do you share?
My wife and I don’t share at all as far as possessions. We both have what we like to call “only child syndrome” so we’re really bratty with our things. Others say its funny to watch us argue over stuff (that I disagree with). Its like “this is my stuff, this your stuff. Don’t touch my stuff and I won’t touch yours” and its like that with everything. Separate accounts, one house and car is in her name the other in mine, even the refrigerator is split down the middle. One time, I ate her last Hot Pocket or something and she tried to assassinate me. Pay day rolls around, “this is my money. I would be willing to give you some, but its my money. We didn’t get paid. I got paid.” Even the bed, my side, her side. Never cross unless sex is involved. Basically I only worry about my things and vice versa. Our married friends think we’re crazy but its been working for us for the past 8 years. I personally think they share too much stuff, I mean even “personal” stuff which is gross to me. How much do you share with your spouse? I mean, are we just crazy or what?

Question by sushanti_6: exercises for those who SIT at work…. funny or not?
Lazy ass syndrome
Hi this is an update of my day so far…….
I have sat upstairs for about 5 hours tonight on a hard floor talking to myself
( which if you know me well, you will recognise the unusual behaviour, ha ha)
Anyway, just to let you know i am alright as long as I don’t sit on my fat backside for to long as I think I may have developed another problem.
I am not sure what the correct medical term for it is, but, just to keep things simple for the many illiterate people who might end up reading this load of twaddle, I will call it “Lazy ass syndrome”.
To avoid this imaginary illness please refrain from sitting on your bum for more than twenty minutes at a time, and feel free to get out of that big comfortable armchair and proceed as follows….
1. stand with feet slightly apart
2. Gently rub hands together (just enough to warm them as if they get to hot this could cause blisters and yet another illness to overcome)
3. Place hands, one on each cheek and gently begin to massage in a circular motion, first on way then the other, untill the circulation ( or feelings) come back in the cheeks of your idle backside.
4. Finally you are now ready to sit back down in that big comfy armchair, but remember to repeat this execrise at least every twenty minutes to avoid total seizure.
NOTE.. if this exercise does not agree with you or it is too strenuous, please consult your BED immediately.
