AT 16 WKS I got blood work done to test for down syndrome. I have a letter from my clinic with a referral to a genetic counselor & amnioscentesis. For reason it says: “24 y/o with (+1) for down syndrome.” I’m sooo scared & worried now. What does this mean exactly.?!

call the clinic and ask them to clarify.
test results are tricky and they’ll be able to clarify it better than anyone on here.
