Question by E.K.: What is the slimy residue my roommate leaves on the toilet seat?
I’ve met a few specific people who seem to have “slimy butt syndrome” because whenever they use my toilet, it ends up feeling greasy afterward. Slippery. Just plain… gross. It’s definitely not pee. I thought it was sweat at first since these people have all been extremely fat, but I can’t imagine that someone would be pulling down sweat-soaked undies multiple times daily and then showering the porcelain with perspiration. So what is this stuff that has forced me to hover?

Oh, me and my friends do it all the time, you get slugs and you train them to race, the ring around a toilet works best because they’re not stupid enough to want to fall off the sides so they just run around the circles. Slug racing is a very involved and competitive sport, I suggest you try it.

i heard a couple definitions having to do with over stressed dads and also another one with young children being very attached to their fathers.
i read a statistic saying 3/4 of births are born to young women with “daddy syndrome”
what causes this? who came up with the term? and why do so many people look down upon it and make negative comments?

Question by ♥mii♥only☺mii: Migraines, temporary blindness, no balance, HELP!?
Okay, this is sorta long so brace yourself. Well, i get migraines kinda often. 2-5times a week. maybe 1-3times a week, i temporarily lose my ability to see in only 1 eye. not always the same one either. it tends to be like things go black for a bit and then goes back to normal. less than half the time i vomit. sometimes its a dry heave. also, the pain has a ripple effect, beginning near my eye, heading to the very back of my head. i lose my balance as well. last year, my friends had to literally drag me to the nurse, i could not stand up, the pain was extremely intense, temp “blindness”, & i even vomited a good trash-canful. my eye doctor informed me that it was nothing that was directly related to eyesight. i trust her judgment because she used to be a specialist. she isn’t anymore, so she recommended me to one. im currently waiting to go to the specialist. i just got contacts, and for some reason, the migraines have lessened. they used to be more frequent. no matter what, they’ve been lessening over time so yeah.
can astigmatism contribute? what kind of stuff could it be? does anyone have an idea of what it could be? any websites i could go to? any links? any of these syptoms of something? im worried and i really want to know. ive been told its not normal. plz, i really am truly worried!
will this affect my being able to become a surgeon? (i want to be one) is this permanent? thnx a ton in advance ppl!

Make an appointment with your doctor. This sounds like it could be serious. You could have MS. You will have to see a neurologist. Seriously, go see a doctor ASAP.

Question by April xoxo: Infants and sign language?
Has anyone else who taught their infant basic words in America Sign Language noticed that their toddler now has excellent verbal skills?
I have encountered a lot of people that are all for ASL, and others who are against it. When my daughter was an infant, some people said to me, “Oh that’s not going to help her speech” or “That’s just going to make her speech worse” or “She doesn’t really understand Sign Language.” Some people even laughed and thought it was silly! But now that my daughter is 23 months old, they’re amazed at how well she speaks, uses sentences, and still knows all the signs I taught her.
Anyone else have such a positive outcome from teaching their infant basic ASL?

Answer by jen
Yep! Our story is a lot like yours. People are amazed at how well my daughter talks. She didn’t learn tons of signs because she started using words early, but she does still use a couple, along with saying the word.
Sign language enhances their learning of language.
