i do not get the ending at all..The asian guy could see again but what happens to everyone else?And the lady at the end of the movie what was up with her seeing white??please explain it all

The idea was that the blindness was only temporary; the Japanese man was the first person in the movie shown losing his sight, so him getting his sight back means eventually everyone in the story will be able to see again.

Julianne Moore’s character was looking up into the white sky just to get an idea of what everyone else was feeling, since she was the only person immune. When she looked back down at the city, her sight was still fine.
