Question by Retard Pride: Do you think it’s racist to be proud of being a Down?
I consider “down syndrome” an ethnicity. Culturally we are a tight knit community who’s heritage is rich.

The down’s made mistakes – didn’t they enslave people with cerebral palsy at one point? Weren’t people with DS a bit ruthless back in the great depression, causing further hardships for people because of violence we were creating? I need to study history more.

I’m proud of my heritage and like any group we’re not perfect.
