if you mean fear, ignorance, lack of experience, and inflexibility are the handicaps on teh part of people without disabilities toward those with disabilities that is very true

    Great. I would only add actually listening to understand. Physical disabilities like learning disabilities merely cause those afflicted to have to find a different way to do what comes naturally to others. When the disabled fail, it is not due to their lack of trying, it is due to the prejudice of those who would rather dismiss than try to help.
